The proprietor, Dave Ward, began specializing in glass filming work in 1989 and since that date has completed many thousands of square metres of filming of all types. Originally operating as a specialist sub-contractor, work was carried out at major military bases on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.

The reputation gained, resulted in work throughout the UK in the following years, particularly in the London area. These included prestigious Head Office buildings of the Hanson Group, the Woolwich Building Society, the Ministry of Defence, the Evening Standard, the Bank of Switzerland and numerous Embassy buildings. Other clients include the Victoria & Albert museum, Law Courts and atriums within City Offices. Private dwellings, which were filmed for either safety or privacy reasons, include the London homes of Lord Hanson and Douglas Hurd. Among the smaller jobs was the sentry box at Windsor Castle!

Sunbusters are now based in the Chichester area and Mr Ward and his team have successfully carried out filming work at the Naval Bases throughout the Portsmouth area including the RN hospital at Haslar, HMS Daedulus and HMS Warrior. Numerous Schools have also benefited from the filming of their windows by Sunbusters. We are also main contractors for local health authorities, Councils and Universities.

Mr Martin (Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare NHS Trust)

Sunbusters have carried out window filming for the Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare Trust for over 15 years. They are courteous; they work conscientiously and are always competitive.

They have installed safe break, anti bandit, solar reflective and privacy film for our Trust and for other healthcare providers in our area. We have never had issues with their quality of work, or issues with them working in clinically sensitive situations. Their film solutions offer considerable saving of time and money when compared to other methods of solar control or security measures. They have proved to be an excellent firm and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

In June 2006 we were so pleased with the difference your film made to our west facing windows & doors, much much cooler, that we had our front windows done with your Two-Way film. Now we can see out and people cannot see in. Gets rid of those ghastly net curtains!

Mr & Mrs Ballard (Residential)

Having moved into my present house, which has a conservatory, in June 2005 both ourselves and the house plants were suffering from the heat on the sunny days, which was reaching over 100 degrees in the conservatory. We decided to have the 'Coolcote' film installed into the conservatory to hopefully reflect some of the heat. The installation was carried out during July 2005, to a very good standard of workmanship in both the installing and the cleaning up afterwards. Immediately we noticed the difference by around 15 - 25 degrees. The film does not detract from the look of the conservatory, in fact it is hardly noticeable.

After 8 Years it still looks good and keeps my conservatory Cool in Spring & Summer.
